Coach Beth Pagliuca

Soccer has always been a part of Beth’s life. Starting on the sideline as a toddler while her mom was officiating she was ready to start playing as soon as possible! Beth played on Division 1 and Premier teams in LIJSL, but after suffering a serious injury she pivoted into coaching to share her love for the game.

Beth has been a soccer trainer for over 15 years and has worked with players as young as 18 months and as old as college students. Beth has coached with the Long Island Rough Riders, as well as other programs such as Pro Soccer Kids and Soccer Stars emphasizing the fundamentals of soccer. She has also coached Premier and Division 1 teams for both boys and girls, has coordinated developmental programs, served as a goalie trainer and as a strength and conditioning trainer for teams.

Beth holds a B.S. in Psychology, a B.S. in Kinesiology, a M.S. in Sport Management and a M.A. in Higher Education. Throughout her time in school, she had the opportunity to work with many athletes at the club sport and varsity level. Beth has previously held a Personal Trainer certification, a TRX certification, as well as Boxing Coach certifications in addition to previously being a licensed soccer official. Now, she is focusing on continuing her coaching education and learning new strategies and methodologies to best support the athletes she trains.

While Beth has been able to coach players of all ages, her specialty is early childhood and early travel age groups. Working not just on the fundamental skills players need to be successful for coaching, but teamwork, sportsmanship and passion for the game
