The Pee-Wee division games are played on Sundays. Teams should arrive on time and begin promptly. |
Teams are required to clean up their area after each game and dispose of any trash or garbage in the receptacles provided. They should then leave the field promptly so that the next match may begin on time. |
Teams are formed and play together for both the Fall and Spring sessions. Changing teams is not permitted. |
The first 30 minutes of the game is for the practice session. The second 30 minute session is for 3 v 3 play. No more than 3 v 3 is allowed during the game session. |
Additional practice sessions are not required or encouraged. |
Goalies are not permitted nor will anyone stand in the goal during the game session. |
Coaches are permitted on the field during the game session, but should refrain from becoming part of the 3 v 3 competition. Coaches are encouraged to make sure that all children get equal playing time distributed among the children at each session. |
Shin guards are required for all players and should be worn under the socks. Cleats are not required. Positive reinforcement is essential to the success of the children s development in soccer. Parents and family members must not go on the field. Remember that everyone at the Pee-Wee level is learning soccer, including coaches, children, and parents. |
The uniform T-shirt should be the outermost garment worn by the players. |
Coaches must make sure that all players get equal playing time at each session. Line-ups should include a mix of female and male players each time as is reasonable based upon the number and sex of players in attendance. No team shall be made up exclusively of all male or female players. In the case where both teams have 10 players in attendance, 5 minutes may be taken from the practice session and added to the game thus giving each player equal playing time. |
Players should be substituted every three to five minutes at the discretion of the coach as determined by the number of players in attendance at the game. Stronger players must not be allowed to dominate the game or receive more time than any other player. Our goal is to develop all players at this age and have fun! |
