Developmental Training Program
The program is designed for the child who is committed, serious and has a passion for playing soccer. The weekly curriculum will be progressive, as players will be required to learn and execute the individual skills necessary to becoming a good soccer player. The goal of the program will be to provide an educational environment for the child who wants to further their soccer experience. Please plan on attending ALL sessions of the program that you sign up for. Players will learn ball control, attacking moves, dribbling techniques, passing, receiving and shooting. Each session will end with a small sided game. Players will also learn sportsmanship, discipline and respect for authority and will help prepare them physically and mentally for high level competition. This program will be a gateway for being selected for future Commack Soccer league travel team. Please consider your child’s interest level and desire in soccer prior to registering for this program.
The CSL Developmental Program is open to all Intramural Commack Soccer League players in our A1 (1st grade), A2 (2nd grade) & B (3rd & 4th grades) non-travel divisions. Note: 1st grade is U7, 2nd grade is U8, 3rd grade is U9 & 4th grade is U10.
Registration:
Registration fee is $175 for all 3 seasons ($150 for Winter and Spring, $75 for Spring only). League or tournament fees will be collected separately. Please register at www.commacksoccer.com. Click on Registration at the top of the home page, then click on Developmental Training Program from the drop down menu. Read the paragraph on How to Register before you begin.

All cancellations and program changes will be posted on our website without notice - please check it frequently!
Fall Schedule:
Sept 10th, 17th, 24th; Oct 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th; Nov 5th
Training is held outdoors at Burr Intermediate School
Indoor Winter Schedule:
Jan 7th, 21st; Feb 4th, 11th; March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Training is held indoors at Commack Middle School.

We ask that all parents wait outside the gym area during the training sessions.
Please make sure that your child has an appropriate pair of indoor sneakers (NO CLEATS) and
a soccer ball and water bottle. Please refrain from bringing juices and Gatorade into the gym area-only water.

All players must be a registered and an active participant in the CSL Developmental Program to be considered for a CSL tournament team.
